How am I doing day to day?

Tuesday, March 05, 2013

Today, I almost feel guilty about how easy having only one cup of coffee was. I help a friend at her salon every Tuesday. There is no time to think about my coffee addiction. Heck, there was no time to eat hardly. Wish every day of the week was as easy as Tuesday afternoons are for staying away from bad habits. But then I'd be zonked out tired if I had to be there five days a week. So I'm hoping that tomorrow, I can stick to the one cup of coffee. I'll keep you posted, since we have to blog every day this week for the team points. Haha

There you have it - now I will have a cup of coffee today! I have a staff meeting and a board meeting after school, and then they expect us to come to work tomorrow, bright and early?! Maybe I better save my one cup for tomorrow!
I'm glad it was easy for you on Tuesday!

yes, it's easier to change things on some days and some places.

A popular author is releasing a book in April about habits. They claim 21-30 days does it. Anyhow also they will have a website up to send some inspirational thing on each day of that month to help us out. It's probably not up yet, but it is make1break1.com

The book is called, " Making Good Habits( Breaking Bad Habits ) by Joyce Meyer. I sounded interesting to me. emoticon

Man if my hubby didn't make the morning coffee, I would be too lazy to make it and there I would be off of caffeine. LOL. I have only one cup a day when he makes it in the morning. I have tea at night though (one cup) and it's Earl Grey so there is caffeine. So maybe 2 cups of a little something with caffeine - not too bad. Great work trying to meet your goal. emoticon

Just today I read in AARP Magazine a brief article saying caffeine consumption may cut Alzheimer's risk, may block inflammation linked to neurodegenerative diseases, and it may reduce symptoms of Parkinson's disease. It quoted the where these studies were done and said no more than 3 cups of coffee should be consumed per day.It says no energy drinks as they contain way too much caffeine. May is the big word! Go figure! I worked long and hard to get off of coffee and now I am trying lots of different teas no longer craving caffeine and enjoying the many flavors. emoticon
