Streak Day 18

Friday, March 22, 2013

I got my Fitbit today and have been trying it out since I got home from work. Numbers won't be correct for today but I will be wearing it all day tomorrow to see how many steps I get in during a normal day. Today I wore it while I did my daily exercise but then when I tracked my exercise I realized that my FB put what I had done and tracked my minutes. Now I am trying to decide whether I should take it off during my workouts and track on my own or keep it on and let it sync in my activity. Anyone have any ideas?

This week has gone better than expected, I am trying to focus my emotional anxiety into my workouts. So far it is keeping me motivated to workout everyday because it helps me to work out the tension building up and allows me to eat normally and breath easier. According to SP I have 1000 minutes for the month and I'm very proud of myself for that. I still have a week left to get even more.

I wear mine and don't add activity to fitbit or s to parks. My girlfriend adds hers, and takes off. It's pretty much a wash. I think you get more cals burned on the fitbit site btw. Just be aware after you hand enter because you took it off, you can't enter in Sparks too, or shouldn't,. You will be floored by the exercise points you are given by Sparks btw once you sync. I love love love that. I average prob 12000 a day. Some days up to 15000, I didn't right away tho. Learned. I walk the house constantly. Right now I am standing at the computer. When I post this, I walk around the house then go on to the next Sparks "thing". When you do laundry. Take just a couple of folded pieces at a time to put away, and you'll rack up the steps too. Have fun with it. When you are use to it, we can become friends on the fitbit site if you want. You should blow me away, I'm your grandma's age, but I'm pretty mighty girl!!!

Good for you :) 1000 minutes is fantastic. I love your attitude of "I have another week to get more"

Sounds as if you have a lot to be proud of. I wear my fitbit all the time, even at night, so it records my sleep. I am finding that a big help as I used to be very bad about getting to bed on time and the fitbit keeps me accountable. emoticon emoticon emoticon
