Am I up or down?

Weighed in today and was down two pounds. But I'm so up-and-down, I don't know if that's for real or not. I won't believe it until I see it over and over again.

    It's typical for me -- I'm a real yo-yo!

    Up one or two days in a row, then down, then up -- it goes on and on.

    My advice, if it's DOWN, just be happy. If it's UP -- just figure the scale is wrong. lol

    I'm the same way. I weigh myself several times a week. I'm up two pounds, down a pound, blah blah blah. Once I see a number 2-3 times, I know I've actually hit it.

    It fluctuates. It is the overall trend that is important. Measure your success by other things, like how you feel, inches lost, consistency, etc. Weight is just a number.

    That's how the scale works with me too. I usually won't commit to changing my ticker until I've seen a number (or lower) for a solid week! I'd rather wait to enter it then have to change it back to the higher number! It's all mental though. In the end, as long as you're being consistent and doing what you are supposed to, it doesn't really matter what that stupid scale says! In the past few weeks the scale wasn't budging for me at all! But I was losing inches, so who cares?! Are you using any other methods to measure your progress besides the scale? emoticon
