April Plans

Hello friends!

I hope everyone is doing great. It is actually a quite beautiful day here in Mid-Missouri. Considering what the weather was earlier this week, and what it looks to be by next week, I'll take it.

Did hot yoga with a coworker again this morning. I didn't get dizzy but once or twice, I didn't have to take any extra breaks like I did earlier this week. I felt like I was getting much more into the poses and concentrating on my breath so much better than I have in past classes. I went from feeling overwhelmed by the heat to truly embracing it today. I bought 2 weeks unlimited so I hope to take full advantage.

Doing the Daily HIIT has been great. I am finally seeing weight loss again. After not losing any weight between Jan-mid March it feels nice to see the scale drop again. But more than that I am noticing arm and leg definition. I am noticing an increase in my endurance doing my workouts. Yesterday I only did a 12 minute HIIT workout, but it was still so rewarding. I'm hooked, I'm absolutely in love.

I don't want to drag this out forever so I'll get to my April goals:

-Do HIIT 26/30 days. This won't be a pattern I necessarily always keep, but the whole streaking aspect is what I'm looking for.
-Drink 3 Liters of water each day
-Use body lotion/facial moisturizer after each shower
-Drink 3 drinks max at a time (except we are doing a wine/food show mid-month where it will be hard to keep to this rule)

And that's it. Other than that there are other little things I'm working on that I've been working on for months and don't need to really spell out. What are your goals for April? This is the point where I stopped pushing myself last time I got this close to my goals, how have you avoided giving up or giving in when weather gets warmer and it's easy to lose yourself in social situations?

    This is a good goal for the month! I'm sticking with my aerobics class, drinking water as the first and last drink I have, including strength training and cardio on the days I don't have aerobics. What keeps me going is that I love myself enough to stay and be healthy! The scale can be your friend or your enemy so I use the measuring tape and the mirror.     Sounds like a great plan! I do am addicted to yoga. I always feel like it puts me in the perfect mindset to live a healthier, happier life!

    Wow! You are doing G-R-E-A-T!!!! I haven't thought about my April goals beyond doing my first 5K....guess I need to get on that! Thanks so much for sharing - glad you are feeling better and not as dizzy during your hot yoga. Also glad the scale is budging downward for you! What a great feeling.
