I'm happy with this week's progress

I'm not using the scale to track my progress this year. What I'd like to do is just go by my clothes, but I need something to measure. So I'm tracking my waist and hip measurements.
This first week of my re-commitment, I lost 1 inch off my hips and 2 off my waist. I measured my waist 3 times and I'm still not convinced. Measurements can be tricky. Maybe last week, I was a little off. Anyway, as time goes on, as long as the numbers are going down, I'm good.
