Scale Victory

In the last few days I have been pleasantly surprised by what my scale is showing and I couldn't be happier. Yes I know I should only weigh myself once a week or less but I have a bad habit of wanting to see how I fluctuate from day to day. I don't weigh myself everyday but at least 3-4 times a week.

The other day I didn't get to eat dinner until after 9pm and I was starving, we went to El Pollo Loco and I got a Chicken Avocado Burrito. I can never eat a whole burrito and usually end up giving half of mine to my DH to finish but I was so hungry that night that I ate the whole thing! After I ate it I thought 'I don't think I want to weigh myself in the morning. Eating something that heavy that late was sure to show a gain on the scale the next day right? Wrong I had a loss the next morning and then again yesterday as well!

I am down 3.6 lbs from my weigh-in last Saturday, although I did eat before I weighed in because I forgot to do it when I got up so my weight probably wasn't as high as what the scale said. With this being the last week of the 5%C I am glad to see the number on the scale come down as that is the point of the challenge but I know that I am seeing NSV's all the time too.

I can't wait to see the underside of 40 because I haven't seen that for at least 10 years.
