Blog #29 - I will make my goals!

So it has been just over 3 weeks since my foot was cut. Today was my first attempt at getting back to fitness. I was disappointed to have missed my goal to walk 75km between February 14 and April 14 (Due to my injury) I have decided with that to set monthly goals instead.

Now maybe it is all this sunshine or maybe it was seeing my bff on the weekend for the first time in 6 months but I AM PEPPED AND READY TO GO! I have set a goal of 40km between today at May 22.

Now I didn't plan that number lightly.

4 weeks - 10km a week.

Really that is 'only' 2km a day during the work week. Today, between my walk to the train (.75km) and my lunch walk that is 5km.

So that is how it will shape up. 3-4 5km days and I will be laughing.

I have a great downtown Calgary route from the west side of downtown. I will be back to running 5k's in no time!
