REQUIRED BLOG WEEK 8

Dear Spark Friend,

Had a real health scare this week and assessing where I still am in my weight and daily habits I still have a long way to go. Going through a health crisis sure puts everything in perspective making all else seem less significant since if we don't have good health what do we have?

I will spend this week meditating on this fact IF YOU DON'T HAVE YOUR HEALTH WHAT DO YOU HAVE? Hope that will help get through to my thick head...lol

Have a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend and don't forget the Veterans and troops still overseas...may God bring them back home soon.

    Yvonne, I hope your health problem is taken care of. . .You are so right without our health it's hard to enjoy life. Muster up your inner strength and tell yourself your good health is on the line and it's do or die now. . .sorry to be so morbid but I want you in as good of health as possible my dear friend. Follow your Dr's orders to the T assuming you have a well qualified one your trust. Eating healthy foods within your calorie range and moving a bit more every day is also the key to staying healthy. I'll be praying for you. . .I do care.

    Everything I have read about low carb eating - Paleo, Primal, Atkins, South Beach, whatever - points to immediate improvements in health. If you're scared, then it's time to take the plunge.

    Clean out your pantry. If it has starch or sugar, throw it away or give it away. It will do you no good. Stock up on food that Nature has made, not Nabisco.

    You can do this and you can be well!
