it's been awhile

Couldn't get to sleep so here I am on my Nook trying to write a blog. I realized I haven't written since before my Relay for Life walk. Even though we were one of the smallest teams we raised over $6000 and were 4th out of 30+ teams. I ended up walking just over 20 miles from 5PM Friday - 9AM Saturday. I rested more and ate better this year so was in much better shape at the end than last year. I was the oldest on the team by 20+ years and the only one to stay awake all night. Everyone else either went home , slept in tents, cars or lounge chairs outside for a few hours. Actually I like walking in the middle of the night the best because there are fewer people on the track and even though the DJ is playing music all night it gives me time to reflect on things.

I think I'll try reading for a little while and hope that helps put me to sleep. Tomorrow is babysitting Cameron and I'll have to be awake for that.
