Slowly but surely...

I recently started jogging (about three weeks ago)...and to my suprise...I love it! I am beginning to think that I have gotten addicted! I never thought that I could ever go jogging (especially by myself and because I don't have to) and like it.

I have been here since Jan '07, but haven't really done much with exercising, except the sporadic exercise videos, and just recently I have started doing it regularly. I am starting to feel great!

I haven't really had any problems making healthy eating choices (there are those weekends that are difficult), but I haven't been able to keep on the 8 glasses of water. For some reason, the only days I can drink the 8 glasses are when I add the individual Crystal Light flavor packets to them. I guess it's better than nothing, but I am still trying to drink more and more each day. I have actually had my 8 today...gotta love that!

    I found it interesting that someone else likes jogging! I have done it on and off since I was 7. I started competing when I was 10. I got out of it when I was 12 then back into it when I reached high school. I have used it as a tool in the past to lose weight but usually it goes to the wayside once I reach my goal. This time I am doing it for a different reason....I like it! I am currently training to jog a half marathon in Chippewa Falls on Aug 11th. If you find the time let me know how things are going for you. It is a great activity for multiple reasons...most of all you feel great afterwards. Good luck on continued progess! Danielle
