Began the day heading to the MD/Naturopathic doctor that is 30-40 minutes from home. Had a nice drive without any passengers! The follow-up visit went well and she is going to let me try high doses of B5 and see if the stories are true that it not only boosts the adrenals, but weight loss as well. It can't hurt anything! I do have to try to shoot for closer to 1000 calories, but I'm fine if I stay near my SP minimum of 1200. Should still know if it works or not. She also gave me injections along the sore tendon and muscles to relieve the pain. Felt great afterwards but I can still tell it isn't right which will keep me from overdoing the exercise. She said this will also allow the doctor tomorrow to work a little deeper if he needs to.

While I was there Tim took Isaac to his physical therapy appointment. Good news! He doesn't have to go back next week after all so another event off the calendar! Yeah!

Had a little time home before taking the kids to swim lessons. Maegann finally jumped off the diving board! Whoo Hoo!

This afternoon the kids played outside on the slip 'n slide and I'm about ready to make them come in as it is 98 and they've been out for two hours in that heat. I'm going to make them drink a very tall glass of water to hydrate.

While they were outside I did some Wii Fit and then decided to Spark. Also watched MasterChef while Sparking. Now I have to wait for last weeks episode to come online and tape tomorrow nights so I can stay caught up.

Next up...a nap!

Tomorrow I will begin the day at the chiro/kinesthetic doctor for more work on my knee and if time begin the food testing. Betting gluten will be added to the current list of dairy as they tend to go hand-in-hand. After that there are swim lessons, lunch at McD's on the way to counseling. And yes, tomorrow there really will be appointments! Both kids at the same time!

Wii Fit Time: First day back in little over a week due to the knee. Felt good to get some activity accomplished today. I did a successful 30 minutes of yoga, strength training, cardio and balance work.

But those who wait for the Lord shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up as eagles. (Isaiah 40:31)

Do you ever feel you are like an eagle in a chicken yard--grounded and pent up when you should be soaring? You know there is much more within you than you are experiencing and expressing in your life right now. you know God has a great purpose for your life--and you cannot escape or ignore the inner urge to "go for it."

Know this: all eagles are uncomfortable in a barnyard; they all long for the clear, blue, open skies. When you are living in a place that keeps you rom being who you were made to be and doing what you are meant to do, you will be uncomfortable too. But also realize that people around you may not understand your desire to break out of the box. They may want to clip your wings. When you hear their comments and questions, something inside of you may ask "What is wrong with me? Why do I think as I think? Why do I feel this way? Why can't I just settle down and live a normal life like everyone else?" The reason you cannot just settle down is that you are not a chicken; you are an eagle! You will never feel at home in that chicken yard, because you were made for something bigger, more beautiful, and more fulfilling.

Is there a longing inside of you for more? Begin to value yourself, because God values you. Walk out of any "chicken mentality" you may have, trust Him, and soar like the eagle you were created to be.
