Another full day come and gone. The day began with my first IV treatment at 8:30. When I arrived in the lab the doctor stopped by to discuss using a stronger treatment which would mean potentially a 2-hour visit each time. He said he reviewed my live blood test with the senior doctor and he felt my liver toxicity was so high that it would be better for me to increase the amount of vitamins each session. I agreed as it made sense. Once that was determined the nurse got my IV mixed and in place. There was another gal there so we visited a little, but mostly I read and rested. Next treatment will be on Tuesday morning.

Once home I had about 30 min. before it was time to get the kids to their swim lesson. We stopped at Subway on the way home as a chicken salad (minus the dairy) was the only thing that sounded good and I was tired and not feeling like fixing something. Had a couple hours at home before it was time to take Isaac to his speech therapy. Spent that 90 min. talking with a couple other moms. Once home I took a 15 min. nap and then we had leftovers for supper as I needed to leave by 6:30 to buy a wedding gift before my massage at 7:00.

The massage.... the first time I can say it was not painful! I am giving full credit to "no dairy" as the doctor stated it was keeping my muscles inflamed. The only pain was a couple pressure points on my back shoulder blades that are linked to my knee and then the left leg because I asked her to work on the hamstring as the doctor suggested I have her help us loosen those up as they were extremely tight. Next doctor visit is on Monday.

Tomorrow.... swim lessons and probably tackling the lawn as we won't have time on Saturday.

BL Challenge - Team Emerald: Today is our week 4 weigh-in and I was able to post a big fat zero. I was hoping for a loss, but it was not to be. We'll see what next week brings!

Oh Janet, so sorry you've been having such body pains but it looks like you are getting things taken care of, even though it will take time. You are so worth it. Your kids and husband and others depend on you being healthy and fit, physically, mentally, and emotionally, so the time and money that is going into making you healthy is well spent. emoticon

The body is an amazingly complex piece of machinery that I think most of us take totally for granted. I love that your care providers are interested in HEALTHY, not pills and that you are seeing results already! Love it!

I hope you get everything worked out with your treatments. Happy to hear the massage wasn't painful and that the "no dairy" diet is helping with the inflammation.

Good luck this coming up week! I'm not sure about the yoga challenge but I always enjoy trying the new workouts.

That IV time does sound like an excellent time for rest and relaxation!

Are you having much trouble staying with the no dairy. I would think it might be in a lot of things.
