Day began by volunteering at Bountiful Basket. There were a lot of volunteers today so we had all the baskets put together within 20 minutes. Here's the haul for today minus some red onions I spread out in five other baskets as I already had 4 at home and we don't use them much with food sensitivities.
Afterwards we went to McD's for breakfast and then home so Maegann could milk the goats and feed her new calf. This little cutie arrived yesterday and he is three days old.
She plans to bottle feed him and then eventually sell him.
Wasn't long and Tim and the kids were off to pick up my dad for their Saturday morning outing. I headed to the grocery store for a few items and then came home and cleaned out the frig. I had planned to just reorganize, but got sucked into giving it a thorough cleaning. Looks nice!
Next on the day's schedule was the final swim class. Both kids passed their levels!
Had about 90 min. home before Maegann and I headed off for our hair trims and then we had about 45 min. before we left home again for playgroup. It was a little smaller group this month due to vacations, but the kids had a blast.
Got home about 8:30, had a snack and then watched an episode of Andy Griffith. Now they are heading to bed.
Tomorrow... worship and... NOTHING! Whoo Hoo! I do plan to make a bowl of guacamole as I am finding that replaces things such as mayo, butter and sour cream nicely.
Gym Time: Hasn't been happening with all the doctor appointments that are taking 2 hours at a time. I have been kicking around the idea of canceling my membership at Anytime Fitness in order to get a family membership at the local Rec Center. It would only be about $23 more a month and would be a way to get the kids more physical ed during the year. Figure we could plan on going 2-3 afternoons a week after our schoolwork was completed. I could swim laps! I want to look into things and see how they would work adding Kenzie into the mix for Isaac's physical therapy and also what things the kids might be able to do without me right there. The cardio machines look over the pool and the gym area so just curious. Down side...it is a 15-20 min. drive instead a 5-10 min. drive. Would I go by myself as easily? Must really think this through and do some research.
