Enjoying a quiet day which is much needed after yesterday's constant "on the go."

Headed to the church that the kids had wanted to try and we've gone three times now and none of us are enjoying it other than our son. I'm thankful we are not attending there again other than Isaac attending VBS next summer. Just not a fit for us. That leaves us with two...the current one and the old one. At least every other week won't make you feel so out of things with friends and events.

Once home and lunch was finished I made a huge bowl of guacamole. Serves two purposes...replaces dairy in many items and gives me more healthy fats which I've been told my blood desperately needs.

Tomorrow I begin the day at the doctor's office having more work done on my knee. Can tell the pain injections are already wearing off which is sad. It has felt so nice without that. I could go get more, but I'm not liking all the bruising that comes with it...or the bill. LOL

After I get home I told the kids we would go to Build a Bear (it was a request) as Maegann wants to buy a new "bear" which will possibly be a monkey or a pug dog. Isaac said he needs new clothes for his rabbit. As much time as I'm spending away from them in the mornings right now I felt it was worth saying yes.

Hoping I have time to check on the Rec Center tomorrow, but I still am having issues with giving up the undivided attention I can offer myself at the current gym. If they can be in the pool alone with lifeguards it might be doable though.

I have a newly found love for guac. I used to think I hated it but I tried recently at a friend's recommendation and it really is very good and versatile. Praying that you reach a decision on the gym issue and your knee feels better. Glad you had a more peaceful day.

I love guac and have it often. My recipe states to save the seed and put it in the mix after it is prepared. It is suppose to make it last longer. I think so far 3 days has been my max.

I do like guacamole, but don't have it often. I make sure that it is not too spicy, since my taste buds must have been inherited from my Swedish grandmother.
