WOW!!! Jeepers Creepers!

We have ""the power""-hydro, as we Canadians call it----Youza!
It was off a couple nights ago---because of storms and torrential rains--
Not too much goes on , when the power goes out--no water--no flushing of a toilet---no phone---but---the good thing is, that we have "cell service " now, in the bush, here!

On the home front here, Mother Robin (Ms Robinson, as himself calls her)-has hatched her eggs---We now have a couple of wee feather-less little things, with long necks and big mouths, sticking out of the nest when "'Mother"" flies in--She looks like a big 747, with her big wing spread, as she comes down over her nest, past the window here.

And son#2, the Air Canada pilot, is on the road, heading this way, with his daughter. They can have a little vacation on the lake-
So, tis time to get to the DREADMILL--walk the GERMANS---- and Spark as if our lives depend on it---
They do you know! -We have the whole day ahead of us!

I'm up at the lake and our electricity has returned about being out 24 hrs. the result of those horrid storms that went through Southern Ontario yesterday. I can tell you we're all more appreciative of this very important modern convenience, especially since we don't have to lug buckets of water up from the lake just to flush the john - ahhhh another great modern convenience!

Congrats on the birth of your new grandbabes - hope son #2 appreciates her flight path and landing technique!!

Enjoy your special time with your son & Grandblessing!

Next month - we will be having our visit with the Grandblessings from New England. The time comes so slowly & then goes so quickly, don't you know? emoticon However, this wise old gal knows to soak every pleasure possible out of those fleeting moments! emoticon

We enjoyed having a family of Purple Finches take a "condo" in one of our trees this Springtime. It brought us such pleasure seeing all the activity engendered by our newest neighbors - "The Finches".

    God bless!

Such a cute blog...did you realize that after you told us about the new "Mrs. Robin" bring home the "goods" for her babies...you immediately told us how you "baby robin" and his "baby robin" are coming home to "mama/grandma's" nest for some loving and food too! What a cute little story...OR maybe I have been reading your cute blogs for too long...they are contagious! So glad he's coming and just in time for the huge gathering at grandma and grandpa's house on Sunday!

Do have a wonderful weekend, Lynda! Take care of the whole flock! emoticon
