Suffering from

Friday, July 26, 2013

that just snuck in here!

The Robins all flew out of their nest yesterday-
As I was sparkin' , yesterday morning, I noticed baby robin #3 was the only one left--and he was hopping along the rafters, outside the nest, with Mama Robin, swooping in to encourage him to leave-
After I walked the Germans, (as in dogs)-he was gone-
They all were gone--flew the coop-
To-day, it is quiet up there ----
And himself and I miss them--a lot!
You might say , ""We are suffering from the empty nest syndrome""--
They watched me Spark daily--
They listened to CBC radio everyday-
This morning, lying in bed, lolling--I could hear Robins singing---and I like to believe it was them!
So-----We have a weekend coming---with maybe some rain--and I'm a-thinkin', that salad might be good for lunch----that is---after I walk the Germans----(as in dogs)--hit the Treadmill---vacuum----oh--the list goes on and on--
Spark on my friends!--

AWWWWWWWWWWW I feel your pain....we have many families that come to our yard to see dh...a gray fox her hubby and kids each year and an unusual raccoon, some turkeys and of course deer and whenever their schedule is upset for whatever reason, I fret and worry until they come again.

I had no idea robins/birds grew up that quickly...but never fear...Sunday is coming SOON...Sunday at Grandma's" so you will have reinforcement! Have a GREAT Friday!

On, and, that first picture/saying up there is emoticon emoticon

So happy to hear that the "children" have left the nest and learned to fly! Mommy Robin did a great job, didn't she??? I always marvel at those moments! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

This is so sweet. We get use to things being there we do miss them. Als the mother encouraging the baby to fly away shows us everyone can use a little encouragement. Keep sparking and have a great day my friend. emoticon emoticon
