No guff!

Sunday, July 28, 2013

It's a Sunday morning--after a night of thunder storms-
Coal (as in GERMAN dog!)-is afraid of thunder-
Himself and I eventually slept thru the cracking thunder---
So----if Coal-y boy tried to wake us, it was like trying to stir a log----
We heard nothing-.........
As I type--himself is cleaning up----(oh I hate to say this!)-doggy-doo-doo--EVERYWHE
RE!---definitely NOT nice!

So----this blog is ""going to the dogs""-for sure--LOL
But-----before I go to help himself----to-day I will journal----ALL day-
To-day I will exercise-----
But---
--------------But-----to-day I guess I have to take it!---LOL------
horrible job!-
Spark on my friends and be thankful that you are not here!

Or as us CNA's and those in the medical profession like to say "Sh** happens. Sometimes literally."

The problem with animals with fears and anxieties is you can't really give them too hard a time if they TRIED to get your attention!

Sorry about the mess. Take care of you best you can, anyway.

Yuck, what a mess to wake up to - at least "himself" will help with the clean up! Poor Coal though that he is that traumatized by storms and it seems to be a stormy season in Ontario this year!!

aaawwww Poor Coal!! Give him a hug for me!!!

Our sheepdog is the same way. We usually have to tranqulize him during the really bad ones. Storms don't seem to bother our other dog..it is just our sheepdog getting so worked up that he gets our other dog worked up too. We had a really bad storm last week during the night and lost power for about 15 hours but I slept through that storm. My himself had to deal with our sheepdog getting in bed and panting and shaking in his face all during the storm, which lasted about two hours. My himself could not believe that I slept through it all.

    Have a great Sunday!!!

Awwwww poor Coal. Our Black and white tri-collie, Taffy was also afraid of storms...could hear them WAY before we could but we KNEW she was right. They have Thunder-Shirts now and they supposedly REALLY work...and when I get another baby, I sure will get one if she needs it...might check into them for Coal. Give her a hug for me...I know how afraid she must have been.

Have a wonderful Sunday and I wish you no more storms! emoticon

LOL! Yeah, my Spot the Wonder Dog leaves us in the same dilemma when it thunderstorms out! Glad you got things cleared up! And yeah to that last poster . . . Thou Shalt Not Take Sh*t . . . but add unless it's the doggies and it's thunderstorming!

Have you heard your little birds again? I remember when we had to raise a little robin who was abandoned, he came back and I knew it was him because somehow we'd been able to teach him to do the wolf whistle! And that's what he'd "chirp" when he came back! Smart, eh!

I pass out in a deep sleep whenever it rains or we have a storm.. nothing can wake me up. Too bad Coal cannot do that.
We SO needed that rain, My lawn is straw,,but the berries are wonderful this year.. blackberries as big as my thumb and lots of them! Raspberries doing very well too!
