So Far...so Good...

So far...so good!...at least I think!
For the past two days I have limited my intake of junk food for more healthy items. Unfortunately my body is screaming "We need more food!" As I am a junk-food-aholic! The good news is that while my body is screaming "We need this or that!" I am feeding it with positive thoughts and H2o. Something I would never have dreamed of doing in the past! Water has become my new passion thanks to my best friend. I can't tell you how many times she's called from Germany this past week just to make sure I am not eating "Burgers, fries and pizza!" It's almost annoying! Vacation already! ;-) Truth is I love that she's taking time out of her vacation to make sure I am okay and happy.
Everyday, we need something to motivate us; for me, it's getting off my diabetes medication for good! I have started kinda slow with my exercise...today it was just mowing the lawn; tomorrow, who knows. The point is that while life and limb scream that they are too hungry and too active, my am starting to feel better and have only been living this way for two days!

    When I am hungry all the time, I increase the fiber in my diet and it really helps. Keep going!
