Chugging along

So I've been really well staying on track. I've been faithfully logging everything that I put in my mouth (on my phone) and eating good, quality whole foods. I feel great but it is challenging.

Staying home with three kids isn't easy for me. My two older girls pretty much keep each other entertained but there are times when they just want me to hang out with them. Summer has been a little on the boring side. The baby has been really needy lately and wants to be held constantly. I think he's teething plus he's getting ready for a lot of milestones like sitting on his own, rolling over, etc. The good thing is that he sleeps great at night. The bad things is that once I get everyone to sleep I want to sit and relax for a while and read a book with no one needing something, then I end up going to sleep at midnight.

I'm looking forward to the kids going back to school, the weather breaking and all of us getting back to a regular schedule.

    The kids start back to school the first week of September where we are. It'll be good to get back into a routine plus I try to walk them to school when the weather (or the alarm clock!) cooperates. That gives me an additional 2 miles of walking for the day plus I'll be able to take a walk with the baby after dropping the girls off.

    When does school start back up for your older kiddos? Oh, man. I feel like I get no time to myself with ONE child. I can't imagine three. Some alone/pampering activities would be GREAT weightloss rewards for you...and much-deserved! :)
