Hello party people!

It's been a whirlwind since my last post in February, but I am proud to say that I have lost a total of roughly 12 pounds (perhaps more, I have not weighted myself in over a week). I am enjoying the slow and steady process because, as the pounds slowly shed off, I am noticing small changes in my body. Curves being redefined. My shape pulling inwards. My stomach roll fading away. My butt getting tighter (seriously, if you haven't tried Zumba, I suggest it strongly! It has seriously kicked up my routine).

My goal is a dress that I want to look amazing in by the end of October, and I am poised to hit that goal. I tried it on this morning and it zips up! ALL THE WAY UP MY BACK. That's the best feeling. It's still hugs me and falls in ways I'm not overly pleased with, but I have plenty of time to iron out those parts to make the dress look amazing. Honestly, having it fit at all again is a huge accomplishment. So, today I am focusing on that. I am focusing on being proud of my progress and thankful that I have a strong support system. My friends, family, and co-workers are nothing but lovingly supportive and I am lucky.

I am adding layers to my workout routine by adding a bootcamp program to my mornings three times a week. I'm nervous to start and hope I can keep up. And wake up.
