Of commitments, and lifestyle choices

Hubby's commitment to exercise lasted two days. He's back flopped crosswise on our bed. A freeze is predicted for Friday, so we are scurrying to harvest the remnants in our garden. Hopefully both of us will benefit from this gentle exercise. I have been making it to the exercise room for half hour on the elliptical trainer every day they unlock the doors, and walked to grocery and back Saturday, but haven't been doing my small weights or other walking, except to church and back. I just cannot seem to match the calories I burn swimming. Nevertheless, i weighed in 3 pounds lighter today, amazing! We are eating lots of high fiber, low calorie and delicious melon right now, trying to eat it all up before it spoils. Wish I could garden all year! And swim! I am looking forward to the slower pace of winter, however. And hoping we get some takers for Bible Sharing, i have missed it so, and do believe it will be good for our little church to share faith in this way. Good to make a commitment again, too.
