Suck-Free October, Day 1!

Was yesterday!

Also, I started the SP Skinny Jeans Challenge. Because WHO NEEDS JUST ONE CHALLENGE AT A TIME.

Based on my practice week, here are my revised goals:

Days all food tracked: 31/31
Days in calorie range: at LEAST 26/31

* any fast days I choose to take, I will count ~600 calories as "in range"

Days under 2000 calories: at LEAST 29/31
Protein over 90g for the day: at LEAST 14 days
Fiber in range: at LEAST 23 days

*for protein & fiber for fast days, I will count it as in range if I get the same amount PROPORTIONAL TO CALORIES as I would on a full calorie day. Which means more math, hehe. I promise not to include the calculations in my blog this time....

Took vitamins: 31/31 days

Cups of water: 8/day on average
Total cups of water in October: at LEAST 248

Fruit & Veggie servings: beat 6/day average
Total F/V in October: at LEAST 190

Workout days: at LEAST 15 total
Strength training days: at LEAST 5 total

Not bad! I can never make up for missing my vitamins, but I'll live. It's not the most important goal, just on there to help me remember to take them. hahaha.

The ST is courtesy of the Skinny Jeans challenge! I did the day's challenge which was the SP "4 moves to a better butt" or whatever it's called, workout. It's all body weight exercises & it's short, so it's not super intense or anything but better than nothing. I got it in at the end of the day, which I might not have done if not for the challenge!

I also went running in the morning - 2 miles & I didn't break any speed records or anything, but I'm sort of tapering for the race Sunday anyway.

Yesterday being a non-fast day and me exercising the bejeesus out of myself lately meant eating at the top of my calorie range. Which I did! I was still in range, and it was mostly healthy except for 2 cookies I was very pleased to include with dinner. I ate a ton of veggies & protein and was generally very happy as I felt like I was pigging out all day. A super great start to my 2x challenges!

This morning the scale was down to 252 (251.7? I always immediately forget what it said....) and after exercise I was down to 250.1!!! Post sweat totally does not count, but still! WOOOOOOT is coming very soon.

I am very optimistic about October.
