Here are some pic's of things I am always talking about.

Yes these are my legs and my feet in my brand new survival boots that my wonderful DH got for me just because I needed them.

Not only do they lace up the front but they zip up the side.

Got them all saddle soaped and water proofed and they are ready to hike.

Now here is something you might not have known about me but I am learning to play the dulcimer. My DH got this for me for my 45th birthday and hey I am still learning.

This dulcimer is made out of redwood out of California and it was the only one of it's kind in the whole store.

This picture shows you the pattern of hummingbirds and ivy on it a bit better.

Now this is something else for our survival bags. My BFF -SEVEN- turned me onto a site called iherbs for something else and I found this (just ordered 10 more of them today). It is dehydrated peanut butter, it contains roasted peanuts that have been pressed down until all the oil and water are gone from them. It has 85% less fat, it hardly weighs a thing and all you do is all 1 TBSP of water to 2 TBSP of PB2 and there you have it, wal laa Peanut butter, it contains roasted peanuts, sugar, and salt, And that is it.
