288 or 307. The battle of the scales continue!

WW weigh-in today and the scale read 307.5 while this morning's home scale weigh-in gave me 288 (just 20 pounds out from my Spark People low of 2010).
I'm happy that one simple change - no ordering take-out - has helped the scale start going down again. Prepping food at night is a pain, and my honey isn't a left-overs type, but making the simple rule of no takeout has meant that one of us is more likely to cook and he's more likely to eat the same thing two nights in a row.
I'm doing the double weigh-in because it's helpful to see where I am compared to last time I was Sparking. I guess that once I hit 268 on the WW scale, I'll stop doing the mental comparison. Funny, 268 pounds seems light to me! By my home scale, I've dropped 60 pounds this year. I tried lifting a 50 pound bag of rice at the grocery store and realized that 60 pounds is a lot of weight that my poor joints don't have to deal with any more. Yay!
Even though this is slower than I'd like (about 5 to 6 pounds a month), it is all going in the right direction - a healthy one.
