Friday the 13th - tattoos, school shootings, oatmeal

I'm trying not to be depressed about the Broncos loss last night. We're still in the playoffs, one stupid loss doesn't matter. I do have to say the Cargers QB Rivers seemed like a huge jerk and I really wanted to beat him, but oh well.

So today is Friday the 13th. Did you know some tattoo shops give 13 dollar tattoos on the 13th? I'm going to get one with a few friends tonight. You have to choose from this board:


I went to the gricery store this morning before work and got the ingredients to make overnight oatmeal. I'm excited to try it. This is the site I found some very inteeresting recipes on:

So, if you havn't heard there was ANOTHER school shooting here in CO today. Sounds like most people made it out safe. They're saying the shooter killed himself and only wounded another student. It's one day shy of the sandy hook one year anniversary. These are some very upsetting times we live in. ~sigh~

    One of my tattoo artist acquaintances posted about doing that! I think hers were ANY quarter-sized, which is sweet. I can't really think of anything I would get that small, though! (And she's 1,000 miles away in FL as well).

    What'd'ja get?! Can't wait to see. Happy (belated) Friday the 13th!

    No worries about The Broncos game, we're in good position for the last 2 games. We have the tie breaker against The Chiefs and we'll have the bye for the Wild Card. The Patriots are without Gronkowski and Phillip Rivers has always been an animated talk trashing guy with a subpar 7-7 team and no Super Bowls. I think we can fix our issues in the last 2 games and wind up with the same record as last season 13-3!

    I'd root for The Broncos no question about it, I don't even hesitate saying that. I've always rooted for Denver since I was young in the 80's waiting for #7 to deliver that Super Bowl to Mr. Bowlen! (And then to get a repeat!) I used to dislike the Hawks growing up so as much as I want them to be successful I can't root for them against Denver!

    Overnight oatmeal? Hum....

    When I need a treadmill I 'll look for one on Craigslist first, thanks for the suggestion~

    my son is a tattoo artist and he posted some great 13 drawings on FB today.

    i hope our world can work this out and figure out what we do to others we do to ourselves. gun violence is just beyond me
