The day began by taking my dad to the lab for a blood draw that is needed prior to his check-up next week. Thankful the lab only had one person ahead of him so it was a quick event. After I dropped him off at the Assisted Living residence I got my three errands finished. Dropped two boxes off at the post office, dropped books at the library and got dad's January spending $ from the ATM. Nice that those three buildings are all together so not a lot of driving required.

Once home I grabbed a quick breakfast and then got the kids going on schoolwork. Some cobwebs to clear after taking a short break, but overall it went fine.

Maegann's friend arrived about 11:30 and they talked/played together nicely for three hours. Isaac did a good job staying out of the way. It helped that his dad came by and took him out for lunch. I got outside and took the lights down off the fence and trees and then did some resistance work with my stability ball and weights. Feeling it in my lower shoulder blades.

The day started falling apart after that as Isaac finally had earned enough electronics marbles to try his new Wii game that he got for Christmas (Star Wars 3) and it is difficult so the meltdown began. I told him I would remove it from the house if this is how he plans to act when something is hard. I honestly couldn't help him so will need to see what I can find out online about how to play.

It's now 4 p.m. and no idea what the rest of the day holds. Feeling like there should be something to organize, but I'm not seeing it! LOL

Tomorrow I have my weekly visit with the Nutritionist and I am hoping the levels are back to normal on Ketones. Once with the kids and then nothing else planned.

I'm just glad to know that Jake isn't the only one that fits over a hard game. I hope you find some helpful solutions for Issac and his Star Wars game. Maybe remind him that some games are harder to learn, but he'll get it soon enough so keep a good head on his shoulders so not to lose the privilege.

I hope today's meeting w/your nutritionist goes well.

Great job on getting your Christmas decorations down and with manageable allergies from it. I too am finished w/getting mine down this weekend - except for my nativity scene which stays up through the 6th. But I don't put that in the same category as Christmas decor... more like Christmas joy.

I finished taking all mine down yesterday! This is the earliest I have ever had it done, but the weather is nice so wanted to get them all in before the snow comes :)
Hope that all goes well with your nutrition visit today emoticon

I'm still working on getting the decorations down. With the grand here I'll need another couple of days. Heading out to walk - almost light out and she is still asleep.

Sorry to hear about Isaac's meltdown over the game. We had a similar situation here over K'nex, so I feel you! Enjoy your quiet evening!

Not familiar with that game but oh, I have seen the meltdowns! Hang in there!! Sounds like you had a pretty good day otherwise.
