New Year's Eve, 2013

I began the day by skating to visit the Nutritionist. It had rained/misted/something just enough to make the roads a sheet of ice. The visit was a good one as all my levels were back to normal (ketones mainly). It's steady the course on my eating plan! In between leaving my lab sample and seeing Dr. Pam I was able to talk with Dr. Todd (my chiropractor) about being too tired again. He tested a couple things quickly and said "It's your thyroid again. Get some time with me." Well, I did just that...one hour later! I was able to go to the grocery store and drop those off at home beforehand so that was helpful. The doctor was able to reset a couple things with my thyroid and then checked my fat burning after our conversation about the weight loss plan. Totally not working as well as it should so he did some resets there and found a couple supplements that will offer help. Nice having this team because together they are definitely helping me lose the weight and getting my body healthier. One thing I have learned this year is how easily our bodies can thwart our "dieting" efforts by being out of sync. I am blessed that God led our family to this group of doctors after ours passed away in late spring.
After lunch I had the kids do their schoolwork and then we took a trip to the library. The day started going downhill about then with Isaac as he was throwing a fit because "they don't have the book I went for." We had discussed this the day before and he still chose the fit.
I sent both kids away from the living room once home so I could get some fitness time accomplished. I could tell the Wii Yoga had been missing for too long by the numbers. I got a solid 25 minutes done today and that was enough. Tomorrow...the bike!
We did sell some large items today. Received a down payment on all the goats and the electric milker and she will come back for all of them on the 11th with the rest of the money. Will be the first year without goats in about 14 years! People also came to look at the upright piano and will be coming back tomorrow afternoon with lots of help to move it out. These two items definitely make us feel like "we're moving." It's just the beginning!
We don't do anything special for New Year's Eve/Day so will just have time together as a family. I might take Maegann to see "Frozen" just for a special mom/daughter date.
