eating on the clock

Today's spark coach challenge is eating on the clock. Due to diabetes, this is not new to me. What I did do though is take time to prepack one of my favorite work snacks. Measured out t baggies of Chex cereal and walnuts. Easy to put in my bag with a couple servings of freggies, add my water and tea at work and life is good.

    Eating on the clock eh? I can understand that's important with diabetes management. But then you read that you should pay attention to your body's signals and not just eat "because it's time to eat". I suppose the key is BALANCE.

    It will make a big difference, although it seems so small. That feeling of alertness, and just being able to maintain your mental state by having a snack is so invaluable. And it's in a baggie you packed yourself in about 30 seconds! So cool.
