Feelings or Why I didn't Sleep last night

Tuesday, January 28, 2014

Once again it was a sleepless night of tossing and turning fighting some serious nightmares. These nights don't happen very often anymore but when they do it is quite intense. Last night the running theme was either killing myself or someone killing me. Talk about intense!!! I finally got up at 4 AM and decided enough was enough for the night.

So out of curiosity I decided to read a website that deals with dreaming. What an eye opener. Whether you believe dreams talk to you or not this was quite intesting.

This is what Dream Moods had to say:

/dreamdictionarysearch.pl?
method=exact&header=dreams
ymbol&search=killing

"To dream that you have been killed suggests that your actions are disconnected from your emotions and conscience. The dream refers to drastic changes that you are trying to make. There is a characteristic that you want to get rid of or a habit that you want to end within yourself. Killing represents the killing off of the old parts and old habits. Alternatively, the dream represents feelings of being let down or betrayed by someone in your waking life. You are feeling overwhelmed, shocked and disappointed."

Working on changing my mindset and getting rid of old unhealthy habits and replacing them with healthy fun habits is evidently shocking my mind.... emoticon .....so much so that it is rebelling against me. Guess who wins this round!!!

    Just a suggestion, I keep a journal. Not only about what is going on each day, but what I am dreaming at night. Begin able to go back in the journal helps me figure out why I am dreaming what I am dreaming. Sometimes I even comment, did I write that??? I did, so that is what I am thinking and why it haunts me in my dreams. Then I know what steps I need to make. The pattern in the journal is clear. Good luck
