Wow. August of 2013.That was my last check in. Everything was going SO great then!
I was on track and feeling great!
That 5K I talked about? I ran it and it was AMAZING! I had a great time, and felt like a million bucks, even if I was in the back of the pack. It was such a huge accomplishment for me!
And YES! I got to meet Jeff Galloway! He was such a nice man...very encouraging! I don't know why this photo is loading sideways...sorry!

And the bonus was a wonderful Disney World vacation afterwards!
We got back from our vacation and life started happening all over again. I lost my Dad in January, nearly lost my mother at the same time due to illness. Mom had been doing great...long story short...we got home and things went downhill quickly with her. Life got hard for my family once again.
And I did what I do when things like this happen. I forgot about myself. I stopped exercising. I began stress eating. I stopped doing things to help myself. I ended up gaining back everything I'd lost plus a few more pounds.
But the light at the end of the tunnel has finally started to shine again...Mom is doing so much better, Thank God, and I am in a place where I feel that I can finally give myself a little time and care.
So here I am, back again. Hoping that this will be the last time I say that!
Here's the plan. It's pretty simple.
1.Track what I eat and stay in that healthy calorie range.
2.Exercise six days a week: Curves workouts plus start up the run/walks again.
4.Be kind to myself.
Totally doable, all of it.
