Tess 's test is Negative----for BLASTO

""Stay Strong""----this little fella really says it all!
Good news here!!!--Tess, the resident German (as in dog)-her urine test for Blastomycosis, which was sent to University of Guelph-----came back---
IT IS NEGATIVE!!!...................
.. NEGATIVE!
As of to-day, we were beginning the 8th month of treating this fungal pneumonia!
LORD LOVE A DUCK!................NEGATIVE!
So the black spots on her last X-ray, is lung damage----from the Blasto spores!
Little Tess must be a fighter eh?----Those anti-fungal drugs are so hard on one's body!
They are the same meds, that if a person has a fungus on their toe nails, their Doctor might put them on these----
Avoid these drugs at all cost---expensive--strong--wrec

But--with Blasto in dogs, there is no other cure!
Fungus is hard to kill!-
So----where do we go from here with Tess?
I read she needs 2 negative tests to be sure it's gone----
I have stopped the meds for to-day--trying to give her liver a rest-- ....This is TESS!
Ya know......There were SO many days that I was in the "depths of despair""----You guys --Sparkly people--kept me going-----Thank-you!
Now----if this little dog can fight this terrible disease--(and she's not out of the woods yet)-----why can't I get --fight my way----to get my weight under 200?-----

less calories-----salad--healthy soup-----exercise---all the good stuff!
SO-----I"M SCREAMING THIS OUT (can ya hear me?)-TESS IS ALIVE----THANK-YOU SPARKLY PEOPLE!--WE DID IT!--WE CAN DO ANYTHING!
