Being the change for me.

I am experiencing a few new and really positive sensations:
1) I am enjoying the experience of making time and space for fitness activities MORE than I want to curl up and take a nap. Of course I could still enjoy a nap if I wanted or needed one...but the feeling that I need one all the time is GONE. I have more energy and feel more vital than I have in a very long time.
2) I am enjoying healthier food choices. I have turned a corner from wanting to eat away my problems, or "treat myself" - when what I am really doing is trying to stuff down stress. I am learning to re-frame my experience with food, and it is making me feel more powerful. I am not afraid of sweets or treats, I just don't feel like I NEED them the way I did before.
3) I am truly BELIEVING in my ability to succeed. I think in the past I have felt somewhere inside that failure was inevitable...that I was just "BIG," and I would always be "BIG," no matter what. I have found ways to push aside that negativity and really embrace my potential. I am being the change I want to see. It rocks!
