REDNECK RUN/EVENT – April 5, 2014
Of all the races I’ve run I have never run one for the fun of it. From my first race where I walked to power walking followed by speed walking/jogging to running each event, I have always tried to tie or beat my best time. But this event will be different. This time I’m am going for the atmosphere and to enjoy a casual run. (And get a really cool medal)
It was about a month ago I came across a race that caught my attention. The Redneck 5k run and 10k plunger relay run. I normally don’t run at 3pm in the heat of the day but for his event it will be worth it.
I’m hoping to see some fellow sparks there.
Here is the event info that caught my attention. (Copied and pasted from their email)
