Blenders or Juicers advice wanted

Thursday, April 10, 2014

Hi,

I know I haven't blogged in a while. I hope EVERYONE is doing well. I've just ended another round of BL with a mere 3 lbs loss, but nowhere near where I want to be weight or body wise. So I will keep going...etc etc.. Until I get there one day.

In my quest for good health, I read too much and watch too much...then get totally confused as to what I should do. I just finished watching Food Matters and Hungry for Change - both very informational and eye opening.

I'm looking to get a blender or juicer...but there's soooo many..and I don't think I want a juicer, I've had one before and hated it, it was more of a time consuming, costly mess than beneficial.

Right now I'm between the Nutribullet and Ninja NJ 600...does anyone have either or something else and how do you like it? I've been reading reviews all night and totally lost at the moment.

Thanks in advance!

I have a juicer that was given to me. It works fine. I use it when I am struggling with getting enough veggies it. My mother gave me a ninja it works well also and makes great smoothies.

I have a ninja which comes with the full blender and adjustable cups that are like the nutribullet. I use both the blender for larger things like crepes for the family and the cups for my green smoothie. LOVE it!!!!

Thanks everyone! I found videos on you tube that have helped me decide. Vitamix seems to be the best, but I'm not spending that much, the next best is Nutribullet. emoticon

No comment on the blenders, but I agree that you should avoid a juicer. They take a large quantity of food to make a small quantity of juice, and some of the best nutrients of the plants are in all the flesh that the juicer removes. The only way juicing is worth it, is if you find another use for all the flesh that is left out so you can still get those nutrients.
