Crucial to successfully changing my life is recognizing all the ways that things are better now (than before I started this journey in January). Just the way I woke up this morning is a perfect example. I woke up a few minutes before 6:00, and was ready to get out of bed. Not only was I ready to get out of bed, but I DID get out of bed.
Once I got out of bed, I drank some water and planned a walk. These choices seem innate now - natural. That means I am healthier, less stressed, and less depressed. These are the MOST meaningful changes I could have hoped for. So, the next time I get a little obsessed with the scale, I am going to come back and read this.
I will remember that my weight loss is a byproduct of all these amazing changes and successes. I will remember to stay tuned in to the way I FEEL - which overall, is pretty darn good!
