I have never checked to see if it affects my chinchillas.

I have never noticed if it affects my pets, although a lot of horse people say it does, but I can tell you for absolute truth that it affects people. I mark the full moon on our birthday calendar at work so we know when to prepare. I work as a cashier and you would be amazed!!!!!

We live just to the west of The Fens in Lincolnshire, England, and that area has the reputation of rather a lot of 'curious goings on' after dark. I wouldn't want to break down there at night, especially if there was a full moon!!! emoticon emoticon
    It really is rather spooky.

So far, no signs of odd behaviour from our dogs, rabbit and birds heading to full moon, but, then, I haven't really thought about it. sigh - something else to add to my 'must do' list!

Thanks - you always come up with interesting articles!

I liked this article. Who knew our four-footed friends went through tough times during the full moon just like we do? I find that we sleep less--mainly because there is more light during the nighttime hours. When you are sleepy, you are not alert enough to be careful. That's my theory, anyway.
