Want to be less accountable

I feel it. The urge to throw everything out for a spell. No tracking food, no exercise, no motivation. I am aware of how much I do not want to put any thought or focus into eating and exercising. I am not letting myself give in to this urge. I understand that I will not always feel like doing what I need to do. That happens in all aspects of life not just health. I do not like doing the dishes but I still get them done every day. Not because I enjoy it but because I need to. Do I ever miss a day, well yes and ask another member of the household. But I cannot ask someone to walk for me. LoL I might miss a day here or there during the course of the month. I am once again in the mode of having to push forward anyways and at some point it wont have to be a push again. I might lose slower for a short spell but I am not going to let myself just stop.

Take a moment. Stop and examine my actions. Is there something I can do to make a mind change quickly or is this a period where I have to continue in a routine mode till I feel it again? What can I do to make it feel a little easier till it comes easy again?

Weight loss just like any other thing you do in life has it's up and down moments. It is not the down moments that define the outcome it is what we do during that time that creates us.

    I think of it as our "evil twin" trying to get the best of us. But we won't let them win! You're almost there! If it took YEARS to put this weight on, what's a measly year or two out of our lives to take it off ?

    The hidden part of a healthy life style is taking account of what we are avoiding within our own mind. When we want to deviate or lack that drive it normal is because of fear. Take a look and see if you are afraid of proceeding. If you are, and who isn't? just LOOK at the reasoning for the feeling, don't react to it, SMILE gently and simply carry on with your program. It's amazing when we aren't afraid to look and we give no other power to the situation through avoiding, blaming, disguising and reaction, it simply disappears.
