No More Pity Party!

Friday, April 25, 2014

It's time for the pity party to end! Long story short, I ended up with shingles and it made it hard for me to get my regular exercise. And, because I wasn't exercising as hard as I was, I was also letting up on my nutrition goals. Today, I see the scale is up 4 pounds and I DON'T LIKE THAT ONE BIT! Rash from the shingles is gone, burning sensation is still here but that is no reason to not get my regular exercise in! No longer contagious and I was staying away from Jazzercise because the instructor had never had chickenpox. So back to Jazzercise and my regular routine today!

More attention will be made to tracking my nutrition also!

Have a great weekend everyone! emoticon

Unfortunately the shingles vaccination can't be given to someone who has never had chickenpox. I'm not sure she can even get the chicken pox vaccination at her age.
I was supposed to get my shingles vaccination and put it off. Procrastination didn't pay off this time. :(

I have known several people who have gotten shingles. The symptoms were enough to get me to the dr for a shingles vaccination. Perhaps your instructor should look into that. There is also a vaccination for chicken pox.
