Coping with Nausea

Thursday, May 08, 2014

emoticon I have just started to experience nauesa. In the spring my gastrites has its toll and I had to invent many ways to overcome it.
I don't want to take drugs and I'm trying to get rid of it.
I admit I've tried eating crackers, orsome dry buiscuits, not as I was any hungry but to stop it and I haven't been able to do away with it.
I am even afraid I'll gain extra kiloes just because I want to fight nausea......to my horror.
Any ideas dear friends?????

Ginger tea. Mint tea. Yogurt with honey. Chicken soup (my mother always gave us chicken soup).

I have heard about flat cola being used as a remedy - I've never tried it myself, though.......

I feel for you Marcyna. I have gastric problems myself
so know where you are coming from. I have tried noting
what makes me feel nauseous and eliminate it for a few
weeks and then when I re-introduce it and it still makes
me feel like that, then I forget about it. Actually today
I had some lima beans and now I am suffering so I won't be
eating them again for a long time. I have made a note of time
and date and will check back again in two or three weeks.
I find an apple will help me feel better and sometimes just
a teaspoon of peanut butter helps. Just trial and error really.
Plain yoghurt might help and taking a probiotic helps the gut.
Hope you feel better soon. emoticon
