A wish list

Monday, May 12, 2014

I am wanting to change things up with cooking. More kitchen toys to play for homemade dishes.

!. Food Scale
2. Food Processor.

This list will grow as I find more and more things I want to have and make it at home from scratch but I figure a food processor will open many areas of homemade items that I buy at the store.

By the end of the year I will have one, start saving now for it.

I found a neat little slim digital scale and it sure helps alot in portion control. I have trouble eyeballing stuff and it keeps me honest. I also found a Kitchenaid blender to match my kitchen (cobalt blue) and I didn't realize it when I ordered it, but it doubles as a food processor! Ain't gadgets great?!

I don't have a food processor, but I do rely on my scale. I also want t start making more food from scratch. Good luck on your journey.

A food scale is definitely essential! I like using my food processor to shred carrots and cheese for salad. Of course, using it to chop onions is pretty awesome, too!

I use my crockpot a lot to cook up roasts for beef stew. My other favorite tool I only use for baking, so not necessarily health-centric and that's my standing mixer. Good luck!
