Sunday...not such a fun day ...

Today started out bright and sunny! Full of life we set out bright and early to run errands and get our day rolling. We cleaned the lawn furniture, had a nice lunch outside and I played basketball with one of my boys. Even painted my nails for tomorrow!

I noticed my little man wasn't acting quite right. He wasn't giggly like usual and didn't want to eat his lunch. Right after lunch he asked to go inside. I came in to check on him, because he just wasn't acting himself and noticed he had a fever. Poor guy! He is so uncomfortable and hot. I turned on the A/C per his request. I really am sad for those who feel bad. I wish I could help him more but I can only do so much. He is resting and I am pushing liquids like crazy. I don't know where this stuff came from. My middle son came down with it yesterday too. For him it was only 24 hours or so. He feels good today. I am praying my little guy feels much better tomorrow. Or we will be staying back from his dad's dedication ceremony tomorrow. Got to do what's best for little man.

I have one tip for some warm weather liquids... try to make sun tea. Jar or jug, tea bags and water. Poof! SUN TEA! Any flavor is great, best with ice and sometimes needs no sweetening. Today I have chai tea in one jug and peppermint tea in the other jug. I LOVED the peppermint tea! Very refreshing!

Going to eat light tonight. Salad of some kind. If we end up going tomorrow I know there will be tons of food and lots of relatives not relating to my restrictions and will get mad if I don't eat this or that. I just have to stay strong, and make it through the day. I am more concerned about my kids than the food at this point.

Maybe since I need to stay inside with him this afternoon, and the A/C is on...I will ride my "inside" bike for a bit....
