The Big C

My sister just dropped the C bombshell. She has been diagnosed with stage 3 endometreal cancer. She is 58 and single with rocky relationships with her children. I will be with her Thursday for a radical hysterectomy and then we will find out what other treatment might be recommended. She is already telling me that she will refuse chemo or radiation. I am prepared to do some verbal battle with her but it will ultimately be her decision. Hopefully the doctor will be able to get it all in surgery so the other treatments will not be necessary.
