Hanging in, but looking for change

So... I've followed Dr F's Eat to Live plan and I've followed Dr McDougall's starch based plan. I've lost some weight, gotten stuck, and then gained even more. I feel like I'm beating my head against a wall. My negative thoughts about myself are spinning out of control.
I recently came across a plan called, "Tone it Up." The plan I purchased is vegan and involves eating only whole foods. They emphasize greens and also getting more plant based proteins, which is different than ETL and Dr McDougall's plan. However, I lost all of my college weight by eating greens and lean protein. I want to give "Tone it Up" a try. I can't go on living at or above my current weight. My knees are in constant pain and my body is even more inflamed from trying to support my higher weight. The plan also emphasizes moving more. My hope is that once the pounds start to come off I will be able to move more.
