What to exercise most...

Friday, June 06, 2014

Today I think I strained a muscle in my leg walking. The sun got to me too but I kept on going. I don't think the muscle is seriously hurt, but is sore.. not in a way that's right.

I hear a lot of people talking about their food intake, and what they do for fitness, and all kinds of combos of the two. And what I tell people is that they are overlooking the simplest of things. Patience.

The most important thing to exercise is...Patience. You can try to hurry up and get to your goal. But is that realistic? the key. emoticon

Patience is so HARD! Ugh. But I do hear that patience is the key. Pacing, only doing a little past what you're capable... Otherwise you'll burn out, injure yourself, or just quit all together because you aren't seeing the results fast enough. I'm at a point where I gained 2 pounds just for eating a no-no food. ONE food. ONE day. It slays me that my body does that. After all this hard work. I'm trying to make it a lifestyle. But I can't fathom never having treats again! So, I have to let go of watching every single pound. I have to realize that there will be ups and there will be downs. Some days there will be nothing at all. It's really really really tough though.

emoticon I'm sorry to hear about you hurting yourself..I really do hope it's nothing serious. Ice packs..or a nice long soak in a bath tub of Epsom salts..I just bought me some lavender Epsom salts and it really does sooth your aches and it smells really good..
I couldn't agree more with you on being 'patient'
Patience really is a virtue..all good things happen over time, not overnight :P
