day 5, the rainy day.

The rainy day. I knew when I awoke there was no chance of walking, so I rolled over and listened to the rain and fell back to sleep for yet another hour.
It actually felt kind of nice to sleep. It rained and stormed here all day, and I wasnt out of the house all day.
I did pretty much nothing, but watch Netflix, and do a load of laundry, lay in the tanning bed and watch more Netflix.
Then I cooked soft chicken tacos for supper, I added some spinach and lettuce and tomato and a tablespoon of light fat free sour cream.
I had a protein shake with banana for lunch, and oatmeal with raisins, dates, walnuts and added prunes for breakfast.
I had some turkey breast, cottage cheese and a peach for a snack.
I feel pretty good about the day, despite the lack of exercise and the fact that I did have some carbs.
I have noticed I am coming up low on my fiber, yet, adding the oatmeal and prunes still did very little to increase it.
But it was an ok day.
I feel content with my day and while I do want to decrease my carbs, I am still tweaking things. Looking for the right combo of foods to get my nutrients, which I find impossible, thankfully I have my supplements. And, to stay within calorie range.
It has been a pretty good 5 days overall.
Now the weekend is just around the corner and I really need to go grocery shopping.
and on a tighter budget as we have alot of bills going out next month.
Taxes due on all the automobiles. And due to storms here Honey missed yesterday due to now power at his job and NO they dont get paid for that.
I have to tighten the purse strings a little more the next few weeks, so I have to find foods that fit into the budget. But the good part of all that is that means no eating out, so I can cook at home and make sure to make it healthy.
