Day79~Eating like a "normal" person

If we think about what "normal" people eat...OMG...we do NOT want to eat like that!!
Fast food...greasy food..fried food..sweets & artificial foods made to look like they are yummy! OH heck be honest ..some of them are..but are they healthy??

Wouldn't eating healthy be a much better goal?? So to eat like a healthy person would be the idea we should adopt! Tis a lifestyle we are looking for ..working for..if it is only a DIET then the idea is ..we will go off of it some day & eat REAL food. That is not the mentality of success!! We need to find & follow our way..our path to healthy eating for each of us.
If it is low carb..or vegan or vegetarian or small portions often..whatever the eating plan is that works that is a plan you can live with for life!!



Indeed this is what each of us needs to focus on. Some say they cannot live without "this or that"..then don't ...if you absolutely MUST have a food then work it into your eating plan..do not turn eating into a battle. We have so much that we work hard at loosing weight. So much of the world would love to have the cast offs from our salad making..



We live in such a small world now ..most of us have fresh or frozen fruit & veggies year round...good meat or fish~ just choose wisely! It is the beckoning of treats that have sent most of us overboard!! & the easy availability of large portions of food. Here in the USA I know our portion sizes have grown as we as a people have grown & demanded larger servings...that is not to our well being!! We need to learn portion reality!



Let's put the word healthy eating in our vocabulary & remove the word ~the idea of diet!
Just as we worked on learning there are no good or bad foods..only choices that are better for us to make. There is a rule that applies ....



That is a lil off the subject..but still fits I think.
we need to think about using words that express~healthy eating...active lifestyle..
Example from book..."we want to eat in ways that will make us healthier." Or you might say, "let's take a walk to improve how fit and strong we are." end quote.

Once again the golden thread of POSITIVE in thought, action & intent ties all this together!



Positive thoughts..positive actions = success positively
