A New Month, A Fresh Start

Wednesday, July 02, 2014

That's what I like about a new month. A chance to start fresh! My goal this month is to not eat any fast food for breakfast, and by fast food, I mean McDonalds. This is going to have to be a "one day at a time" thing for me, as I seem to be hooked on the sausage McMuffin. As a replacement, I can make my own easily at home using 100 calorie English muffins and some low fat cheese and ham. I have yogurt here too, and I really like dry cereal. So I have options. emoticon

And again, I will track! Even when not home, I can track. I have a notebook and a pen, so of course, I can do this too.

We are getting ready for a short camp trip this weekend, and I will work hard to make wise choices where my food is concerned.

Have a great 4th of July!

I was a daily sausage McMuffin, or I should say TWO sausage McMuffin gal for months. Once you get past the first few days, you really don't miss them.

Since you are making a healthier version at home, have you thought about making them with turkey sausage patties?

    emoticon goal!
I can relate to being hooked - treated myself to a quarter-pounder whenever possible.
    Now they upset my system!

You can overcome McDeath's. Watch a few movies about how animals are raised and slaughtered. McDeath's then takes that meat and sells it as food. It should be against the law. It certainly isn't consumable and it's far from nutritional.
