Enjoying a very quiet and calm afternoon! After yesterday this day has been so wonderful from the beginning. Thankful!
First task this morning was my trip to the eye doctor. The bifocal had changed such a small amount that I did not need to get new lenses. Another praise!
Came home and got the kids lined out on chores and schoolwork for while I was gone to the Nutritionist (nothing new there) and then once home we finished up the schoolwork just in time to head to swim lessons. Tim was able to stop by for most of the lessons today and then we all headed to McD's for lunch.
This afternoon Isaac spent several hours "entertaining" the neighbor boys (the nice ones) and Maegann headed to Vanessa's (homeschool friend a few blocks away) for the afternoon. I've been able to catch up on email and Spark and get a few things ready for school tomorrow. Nothing on the calendar for tonight either so will spend time on my bible study (James).
Yesterday the kids both began swim lessons and they both have great teachers. Thankful yet again! Maegann was definitely pushed hard in hers and goodness but the tears flowed and she did not want to go back. After we purchased the goggles and she had the rest of the day to calm down and be logical she was excited again. Yep...another "thankful!" Today they still worked hard, but it wasn't nearly as intense. I think the instructor was just trying to see what the limitations were for all the students.
Here's a shot of Isaac's class (middle group).
And one of Maegann's.
And this is me poolside today enjoying the shade during lessons.
We had HOT, HOT, HOT again yesterday (it's cool today...98) and this was the reading in the van as I was driving to the homeschool co-op meeting in Meridian last night.
THANKFUL!! While I was driving Tim found a place to buy the broken part for the air-conditioner at home. The place was comfy & cool when I returned about 10 p.m.
When I was visiting with our "ex" neighbor Lisa yesterday (she was cutting Maegann's hair) she mentioned someone had put a road in on our land. She didn't realize we had sold that piece of land and we didn't realize the new owners had already started work on prepping the place to build a house! We had protected this 1/2 acre for over 20 years from a house, but no longer. Looked funny seeing access from the road!
And today was "Christmas" again as the doTerra box showed up with my monthly purchase. Love those boxes!
This one has several different ones that I had hoped to purchase the first month, but needed to get the Helichrysum for Isaac's nose instead (it is a spendy one). First one I put on was Whisper. Just like a perfume and so calming!
I hadn't paid too much attention to emails recently but this doTerra offer was in the box as well. If you're interested let me know. This is a GREAT deal!
Tomorrow.... Nothing on the schedule other than swim lessons and Isaac's counseling at 5. I know....hard to believe from busy ol' me!
