BLC 25 Experience: This BLC was a time when I had many things going on in my life. Some of them were huge stressors for me. In the past, stress has been something that I deal with in a number of unhealthy ways. Having such amazing team-mates to lean on and cheer our team on means more to me than I can find words to express. We are such a diverse group of women and yet we all come together to offer support and tough love when needed.
NSV: While this BLC did not see the number on the scales change a great deal, the NSV I did accomplish is dealing with some pretty major stressors and health scares in a far more healthy way. I am very proud of me for this!
I plan to continue on the new path that I have been taking over the last few weeks. It includes my daily walks which are exercise for both my physical and mental self. I am trying to make my exercise more about daily activities but in a "planned" fashion. Added to this I am going to do 50-50-50 type challenges with myself spaced throughout my day. (50 pushups-50 crunches- 50 squats - 50 bicep curls - 50 lunges etc) My food I will continue to go in the direction of non-processed (which is pretty much all I eat) and fewer restaurant meals.
