Today has been another fun day. Worship was very good. Great sermon on prayer presented through a fabulous skit by two of the pastors. After class we stopped at Taco Time for lunch and then came home to change clothes and head to the County Fair. Only downer was we forgot our water bottles and weren't about to pay $4 for a small bottle!
We enjoyed seeing the goats especially as we all do miss those animals. We petted on them for a long time!
We wandered through the sleepy pig area (they were all either sleeping or lying there snorting) before heading through the poultry and cows on our way to the entertainment stage.
We enjoyed the magician that was performing. He is quite silly and does cater to the children very well.
We then wandered through the indoor expo center and I talked with the ladies running the doTerra booth and was fun seeing how simple it was as I'm putting ideas together for mine next month. I also saw Terri from bible study (She is the grandma who raised Shea McClellin who is a linebacker for the Chicago Bears.) and visited with her for a little bit. A sweet lady.
We then headed to the carnival area so Isaac could enjoy a few rides. Maegann didn't want to go on anything. She just doesn't enjoy that type of stuff. You can find Isaac by looking for the long, brown legs. LOL
We then walked back to the van instead of waiting endlessly on the hot sidewalk for the bus to take us to the parking area. We stopped at a fast-food place and bought one large glass of ice water and shared it and got many free refills. We were all dehyrdated! We then went to a convenience store on the way home and bought iced tea.
Once home I got the Tracfone service days purchased (that was a job since I needed to get them a new credit card #) and then headed upstairs for a nap. I got a solid hour! After supper (leftovers) I got a return ready to mail and some doTerra info ready to mail to a SP friend and then got the bills paid and the finances caught up on the computer and now I'm Sparking before I dig into my notes and papers from the doTerra conference yesterday.
Tomorrow... school, library, bank, post office (thankfully those last 3 are all within one block) and then nothing on the schedule. Planning to get some Wii Fit time as I've got to get formal, planned fitness back on track again.
BL Challenge - Team Emerald: Can't believe we just finished our 6th weigh-in out of 10! I need to start thinking about getting things ready for the Fall sign-up! Yikes! for the weigh-in we dropped back to the 10th place (out of 13 teams) for the week, but as we had about 5 or 6 not show-up for various reasons I thought that was a decent finish. We did drop in cardio but came up in strength placement. A great week once again team Emerald!
5% Challenge - Team Daisy: Weighed in with a zero yesterday for the week which I was thankful for coming off of the program I've been doing since October. Time for adjustments! This week besides the usual fitness and trying to lose or maintain weight we are to find 10 minutes a day (at least) for personal happiness. This is good for me as I've been very bad about putting myself first for awhile. This weekend I've done well with the all-day doTerra oils conference and today I took an hour-long nap!
